When the tool life has expired during automatic operation, a tool change is automatically performed, reducing the machine down time.
Tool life of each tool can be managed. A message is displayed to prompt a tool change when the cutting length of the tool comes near the set life value. Also, by setting a tool load rate, the load status is monitored during machining and a tool change can be prompted when necessary.
